So I dont know how to write before the pictures. I always end up deleting the photo somehow? 

Anyways I like just posting some fun photos from my day. someone asked me what the point of this blog was. and really I dont have one...hopefully in the winter I'll have lotsa fun snowboarding tales and adventures to post. but until then youre stuck with pics from campus 'cause its where I spend all my exciting days at.

this is the ubc knoll. when I first went to ubc there were constant protests to "save the knoll'

which is a mound of dirt from the swimming pool. but it has many fans of its grassyness. kids got taken away by cops one night trying to prevent buildings from being built on this knoll. fun facts.

ohboy, im blogging. never really thought to write about my life and how i go about it to an unknown audience but i figure this is a perfect distraction from school.
and school is a perfect distraction for the dead season. one more month.
but here is my intro!
my name is kate! i've ventured to some far off corners of the world but settling here on the west coast fits pretty good. snowboarding is what has guided me through life pretty much, its why i live here, modivation for travel, met my best friends this way. snowboarding gets me..cheesy eh.
